VESA Accepts AMD's FreeSync
Back in January, AMD was showing off FreeSync, an alternative to Nvidia's G-Sync , built on open standards. FreeSync worked on panels with VESA's variable
I never could understand why they kept the concept of vsync around for modern progressive displays. Props to AMD for creating an open standard.
